Announcement:
Starting tomorrow, the first day of the school year in many places -including the University of Southern Maine- the Wandering Astronomer will present a free on-line astronomy course. This course will consist of more than 100 lessons and quizzes. We will also be posting many other astronomy articles throughout the “school year. However, each day, M -F, will be posting one article from this course: lessons M – Th and a quiz on Friday. These lessons will cover the basics of astronomy: from the celestial sphere to planet motions; stellar astronomy to galaxies, eclipses and much more!
We expect the course to run from at least September to May.
